It's been a busy August at Lini. If you have been following along on social media, you know I’ve been bringing a little more of my personal life to the feeds. Alongside sharing how Lini approaches operational risk, I’ve been sharing my biggest non-work project of the year: I got married! Because my husband’s and my families are scattered across the globe, we skipped the traditional one big wedding. Instead, we had a tiny wedding and then embarked on a world tour of seven different wedding parties across the year to celebrate with family wherever they are. Managing international travel and event logistics for seven separate events while running a growing business requires serious operational muscle. What got me through it? Using the exact same frameworks and tools I use for my clients. I created a central Miro board complete with logistical documentation, floor layouts, and communication plans to keep everything on track. Whether managing international travel or launching an IT implementation, structured planning is what turns potential chaos into seamless execution. The wedding was not the only thing I've been busy with in the last month or two - take a look below for some other past and upcoming activities! 🎤 My First Podcast Appearance:I sat down with The Cyber Savvy Woman Podcast to break down how IT professionals can build operational readiness for complex physical tech rollouts. We dove into why brilliant technical strategies fail without secure, compliant operational foundations. It's worth a listen and I'm excited to share it with you all. 👾 Thought Leadership Blog Post: How We Use AI at LiniAI isn’t a silver bullet, but when paired with clear human governance, it’s a game-changer for operational efficiency. In our latest blog post, I share how Lini leverages AI tools for research, automation, and communication—and the strict rules we enforce to prevent bias and ensure accountability. Check it out here: How AI Powers Our Work at Lini 📘 Upcoming Workshop with SCORE:Many don't know that another "side" project of mine is being a SCORE mentor. I help new founders, like myself, untangle their own operational chaos. It is consistently one of the best parts of my week - there is nothing better than hearing a brilliant new business idea and helping that founder build the roadmap to execute it. I'm excited to run my first SCORE workshop next month on September 22! You can register for Offer What Customers Actually Want – Hands-On Customer Discovery Workshop here and learn more about SCORE. Stay tuned for more upcoming events. I have a fun SF Tech Week panel and a few more planned. Best, |

What a week! We’re coming off two milestone experiences—connecting with over 1,000 global service design leaders in Germany at the Service Design Global Conference (SDGC) and unpacking the future of enterprise AI governance in San Francisco. Whether we’re designing human-centered service systems or architecting agentic workflows, one truth remains clear: technology only creates durable value when it is anchored in clear human intent, organizational context, and systems thinking. For centuries, verbal storytelling was the primary way humans passed down historical information and moral ethics. Today, AI risks diluting this by replacing human narratives with synthetic content. As organizations rush to adopt AI for business growth, a critical challenge has emerged: How do we implement AI responsibly while maintaining the speed that continuous improvement requires? AI won't replace humans, but left unchecked, it can easily erode the empathy, creativity, and ethics that...
